In this part of the Unites States some seasons can be identified by weather, activities based on the weather and the food of the seasons. Autumn is apples, cider, changing leaves, and you know it is the middle of summer when you are lathering up an ear of sweet corn. This is when you know that summer has matured, grabbed every warm day and ear of corn, because when it is gone we will all be eating apples and drinking cider!
