When I was a young boy I listened to top 40 radio for hours.  There was something comforting in listening to the local DJ spin records, have call in games and take requests, they were there all night, in the morning, on the school bus and in the car.  With most of broadcast/cable television having screaming mannequins spew noise and make lots of money doing so, I find comfort in my old friend. I can still change stations, get just the news and not screaming, have friend in the car or any place. The internet, AI, Newspapers are on life support,  social media, phones and television for the most part has sold it's soul, the one constant for all these years, is radio!  From the very late 19th century through 20th and today, our old friend is going strong!
